Scope

This policy covers the public website at barnglow.net, the contact form, the optional updates form, and any text messages sent through the BarnGlow product marketing text program. It does not cover a third-party site that we do not control.

Information we collect

Information you submit

• Contact form: your name, email address and message. The form does not ask for a phone number.
• Updates form: your mobile phone number, whether you ticked the optional SMS consent box, and the time of submission.
• Correspondence you send directly to [email protected] or by phone.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as an IP address, browser user agent, requested path and timestamp for security, routing and abuse prevention. We do not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics or cross-site profiling on this site.

Information in form submissions

The updates form includes a hidden anti-bot field. If that field is filled, the submission is acknowledged without being stored. We record the consent state as part of the opt-in evidence chain when persistent storage is enabled. We never ask for a Social Security number, date of birth, government identification, password, or employer identification number through this site.

How we use information

• To respond to an inquiry or a correction request.
• To confirm and administer an optional text subscription.
• To send the marketing and promotional product updates described on the updates page.
• To protect the site, prevent abuse, and maintain basic service records.
• To meet legal, tax and carrier-compliance obligations.

We use the mobile number and consent state only to send the product marketing updates you requested and to maintain the consent record. We do not sell or rent mobile data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or profiling. We do not infer a person’s investment goals from a page visit.

Text messages and consent

Text messages are optional. You can use this site without consenting to messages. The consent box is not pre-ticked, and a phone number submitted with the box unticked is recorded with no SMS consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase or access.

The program sends marketing and promotional product updates only: barnglow product updates covering product feature announcements, workflow guides for reading public filings, new report-format releases, educational notes about public filings, and occasional product offers. The messages market the BarnGlow tool itself; they do not name a security to buy or sell, provide a trading call, forecast a price, or claim performance. Messages are recurring and frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. The full keyword list and auto-replies are in the SMS Terms.

You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us at [email protected]. A withdrawal stops future messages but does not affect the lawfulness of messages already sent.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site and the text program (for example, hosting, messaging and support providers), when required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to this policy. We do not sell personal information.

These commitments apply to mobile opt-in data and SMS consent. They do not prevent a carrier or aggregator from processing a message to deliver it, or a platform from processing data as necessary to provide the service.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not load third-party analytics. Hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary mechanisms to route requests or protect the service. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the new mechanism is introduced.

Retention

We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter. We keep text-program consent records for as long as the program operates and for the period required to demonstrate compliance. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Security

We use transport encryption, restrictive response headers, a body-size limit and a hidden bot field to protect form submissions. No internet transmission is completely secure. If you believe a message or form has been compromised, contact us at [email protected].

Children

This site is a business and financial-information service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will review and delete it.

Your choices

• Do not tick the optional box if you do not want text messages.
• Reply STOP to any product message to withdraw consent.
• Ask us to access, correct or delete information you have submitted by emailing [email protected].
• Use the contact form for a question that does not involve mobile data.

We may need to verify that a request relates to you before acting on it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy choice.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site or the text program changes. The revised version will carry a new effective date at the top of this page and on the SMS Terms and Terms of Service. Material changes to how mobile information is used will be communicated before they take effect.
